The moment the song starts, you’re transported back to the ‘90s, with a modern beat that tries to match your heartbeat. But as the saying goes, some originals just can’t be outdone.

Melody:

The melody weaves through the new and old, paying respects to the classic while trying to carve out its own identity. It is catchy, and it does linger, but it doesn’t quite hit that sweet spot like the original.

When it comes to the lyrics, IP Singh brings his own style to the table. He’s got a way with words, but Anand Bakshi’s touch was something else, wasn’t it?
