Hey folks! It’s DJ Shilpi Sharma here, and I’m thrilled to share the awesome story of Bollywood music with you all. From the classic sounds of the 1950s to today’s cool beats, let’s dive in!
In the 50s and 60s, music was pure magic. Legends like S.D. Burman crafted songs that still touch our hearts. These tunes are timeless and full of emotion.
Fast forward to the 70s and 80s, and things got really exciting. We grooved to the electronic beats of R.D. Burman and the disco vibes of Bappi Lahiri. Stars like Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar showed us Bollywood could dance along with the world.
Then came the 90s, mixing the classic with the new. A.R. Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan brought us hits like “Dil Se Re” that crossed borders with their fresh sounds.
Entering the 2000s, the music scene got even cooler, mixing EDM, hip-hop, and more. I love playing with these vibes in my remixes, bringing old classics into today’s groove.
Now, Bollywood music is a global mix, full of diverse influences. It’s amazing to see how it’s evolved but kept its heart, telling stories that connect us all.
